Other amenities include picnic areas with grills and playgrounds for children. The park is open from 8am to sunset every day and admission is $5 per vehicle (up to 8 people).
Venice Beach Recreation Center & Ocean Front Walk
The Venice Beach Recreation Center & Ocean Front Walk (Boardwalk) is another popular spot in Venice. This beachfront recreation center offers plenty of fun activities including volleyball courts, bike rentals, kayak tours, and more! Visitors can also take advantage of the boardwalk which stretches along the beach providing stunning views of the ocean. The recreation center is open from 9am to 5pm every day except Sunday when it closes at 4pm. Admission is free but there may be fees associated with certain activities such as bike rentals or kayak tours.
Ruscelletto Park
Ruscelletto Park is one of the city’s most beloved parks due to its unique landscape and wide range of recreational opportunities. This park features a large lake surrounded by lush vegetation making it an ideal spot for bird watching or simply enjoying nature’s beauty.
This park has a sidewalk for walking and biking around a stormwater pond that is the home to numerous water birds and other wildlife. It has a shaded picnic area, benches and limited parking spaces. Parking access is from Calle de Toro, off North Grove Street.. Ruscelletto Park is open from sunrise to sunset every day and admission is free.
Bypass Park / Foxworthy Campus
Bypass Park / Foxworthy Campus provides visitors with yet another opportunity to explore nature in Venice while engaging in various recreational activities such as hiking trails, disc golf courses, playgrounds and more! This park also features several pavilions that are available for rent if you plan on hosting an event or gathering here during your visit. Bypass Park / Foxworthy Campus is open from sunrise to sunset every day and admission is free.
